"Grand as it is, planet Earth is part of something even grander- that great plan of God. Simply summarized, the Earth was created that families might be." Elder Russell M. Nelson

Very busy this week teaching, Preparing, meetings, visits, and Movie nights. Not many photos. We will do better next week.

Spring is beginning in Armidale and little by little trees and bushes are flowering and daffodils are seen in many gardens.  As we have traveled and visited, we have enjoyed the beauty of this area.  We returned to the little cafe we visited last week for a hamburger to enjoy their Tuesday special of a  T-bone steak dinner with what they call pumpkin but we call squash, potatoes and mixed vegetables.

President Sully asked us to be in charge of the branch talent night in September so we worked on programs, announcements and how to persuade the members to look outside the box for talent ideas to share.

As I am hoping a less active mother will bring her nine year old daughter (still not baptized) to the Primary activity once a month, I searched Pinterest for ideas.  I am so impressed at what a great resource it is.  Next Monday the three little girls and I will make woven fish and I will let them make their own pudding, Oreo cookie, gummy worm treats.  I found a quote from Albert Einstein that says: "Everybody is a genius.  But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid."  I typed up the quote to attach to their fish to go on their wall to remind them that they are each individual daughters of our Heavenly Father who only need to be true to themselves in living the most righteous life they can and doing their best in life.

We had wonderful seminary lessons this week studying Proverbs, Psalms and introducing Isaiah.

Our deluxe T-bone steak dinner at the Highway Diner in Inverell, NSW.

I opted for the gravy, I did think that it would be put on the mashed potatoes.

The price was right, only $7.50 after the exchange rate works it's magic.

These fields looked like tree graveyards, no doubt room for grazing sheep and/or cows was needed and the trees had to go.

Looking down the Old Armidale Road.

Elder Yang (in the middle), had his last day at Church today as he is being transferred to downtown Sydney to the Hyde Park area. We will miss him.
